Wonderful Foster Dog for Adoption:
Check out Mariah - a very special dog for adoption to the perfect home.

Yes, it's an orange feather on my lip!!!! Aren't I the cutest!!!
Her name is Mariah. She's 4 years young, spayed, black lab mix. She's only 40 lbs. She has all her shots, microchipped and ready to go to a home but ONLY IF THE HOME HAS ANOTHER FRIENDLY DOG and a understanding, loving, patient family. Mariah was probably a stray all her life and isn't sure about people. She likes them but gets scared. But with a dog companion at her side she follows the dogs lead and does very well. She loves to ride in the car, is crate trained, walks and jogs EXCELLENTLY on leash, has learned to play fetch and recently learned how to swim and retrieve her frisbee. Her new trick is a shake and a wave! She also knows sit and down by voice command and hand command and she always comes when called. She loves to sleep on her bed or crate and chew a rawhide. She's great with dogs and cats and kids. She is not aggressive, she just gets skittish when she gets frightened, especially if strangers try to grab her collar. Basically, she wants to run away to her bed to feel secure. She'll watch you and stay close by and when she realizes all is ok, she comes back out to see you. She's learning what people do and that she won't be hurt. But she needs a loving and patient person to understand her and not feel offended that she scoots away from a loving pet sometimes
Please call me for more details.
